Our R&D focuses on innovative technologies for enriching plant-based production of biopharmaceuticals and cultivation sustainability.
In addition to performing contract research, we developed the first commercial, patented plant infusion system shown to improve plant-based production.

We participated in 22 successful projects and helped raise over €9M in non-dilutive funding.

Floem is an innovative automated system for the delivery of nutrients and metabolites into plants. It acts as an infusion for plants that enables regulated uptake of nutrients and other growth factors, which accelerates their growth and increases yield.
The operation is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Fund for Regional Development, Eureka Fund and SynergistEIC programme.
